Camplify Flexible Membership Agreement

This Flexible Membership Agreement applies to Owners who choose the Flexible Membership option when signing up to the Camplify Platform. 

This agreement applies in addition to, and does not replace, the Camplify Terms of Service. It is a condition of your membership that you comply with the Terms of Service, Owner Rules and Community Rules. Any suspension or termination of your account under the Terms of Service will automatically suspend or terminate (as applicable) your membership under this agreement. 

This Flexible Membership Agreement shall be construed in accordance with and shall be governed by the laws in force in New Zealand.

Camplify Flexible Membership Benefits

a) Your Flexible Membership allows hire of your RV to Hirers aged 25 years to 84 years, who are fully licenced.
b) Up to 40 days damage cover per membership year under the Camplify Promise for you RV whilst On Hire (see Camplify Promise for inclusions and exclusions).
c) National roadside assistance whilst On Hire (subject to the towing distance and annual benefit caps set out in the Terms of Service). 
d) As a Flexible member there is no damage cover for off road use. You must not allow any off road hire of your RV.

For the purposes of this agreement, “On Hire” means the period, recorded on the Camplify Platform, during which an RV is in the custody or control of a hirer under a booking made on the Camplify Platform.

 

Camplify Flexible Membership - Commission and Timing 

a) As a Flexible Member you will be charged a 15% commission plus GST on each booking. The commission is charged on the hire fees (including fees for hire of ancillary items, and services such as delivery) paid in respect of the booking. Camplify may vary the commission on 30 days’ notice in accordance with our Terms of Service.
b) As a Flexible Member the maximum coverage under the Camplify Promise is for 40 days per membership year. Your membership year commences on the day that your listing is completed on the Camplify platform and recommences each year on the anniversary of that date.
The 40 days are measured against the On Hire days recorded on the Camplify Platform.
c) If you reach 40 days and wish to continue to hire during your membership year you must revert to Bring Your Own Membership or take out Camplify Premium Membership. 


Camplify Flexible Membership - Comprehensive Damage Cover Requirements 

To meet the requirements of the Terms of Service that, “All RVs must have comprehensive damage cover, covering both damage to the RV and public liability for loss or damage to third party property” Flexible Members:
a) must have a personal comprehensive insurance product covering personal use of your RV. You must provide a certificate of currency for this insurance to Camplify on request. Having comprehensive insurance cover is an essential screening tool to establish that your RV is suitable for cover under the Camplify Promise when On Hire. If your RV does not have a current comprehensive insurance policy you do not have access to the Camplify Promise. 
b) provided you have comprehensive insurance, your RV has accident and damage cover under the Camplify Promise for up to 40 days per Membership Year when your RV is On Hire. See the Camplify Promise for inclusion and exclusions.
